1-CREDIT CLASS

Career Exploration (UNST 195): Career Exploration is a 1-credit career decision-making class. Participants learn about the myths and realities of choosing a major and the career decision-making process; identify their relevant skills, interests, and values; uncover potential careers to explore; and learn how to research specific job titles through print and electronic sources as well as informational interviews. Attendance at all sessions is required; missing the first class session may result in removal from this course. There is a $20 materials fee for the administration of career assessment.

NOTE: After the 1st week of the term, permission is required to add this course. The course can be added until the first class meeting with a signature on a Special Registration Form or email response from the instructor.  You may come in-person to the University Career Center or call (503) 725-4613 for more info. *Always check with Financial Aid or your academic advisor when dropping or adding courses after the deadline.
