Contact Us with Basic Clicker Questions
You can address initial questions to: clickers@pdx.edu
Review the clicker information grid for a comparison of major systems at PSU.
The following faculty are experienced eInstruction users and are willing to answer questions via email:
(1) Mitch Cruzan, Biology (currently using eInstruction clicker system) cruzan@pdx.edu
(2) Leslie Rill, Communication (Currently using Turning Technologies clicker system) rill@pdx.edu
(3) Corey Griffin, Architecture (Currently using i<Clicker clicker system) cgriffin@pdx.edu
Ordering Procedure:
For an instructor's kit (offered free by most companies), contact the representative listed on the clicker comparison grid, and you'll be given specific instructions for ordering. Tip: Remember to include a street address, not a P.O.Box number, on your ordering request.
Ordering Student Clickers for your Course from the PSU Bookstore
As soon as you decide that you will use clickers in your course, place an order with the PSU Bookstore to ensure there will be enough units for your students to purchase at the start of the quarter. Clickers are ordered using the same process as textbook orders, using ISBN numbers, so you will base the number of clickers ordered on the number of expected students in your course.

Learning to Use the Clicker System
Give yourself some time to become familiar with your clicker system and to plan how you'll use clickers in your class sessions. The following sites contain guidelines and best practices for course planning with clickers:
(1) Training videos, interactive tutorials, and online workshops provided by clicker vendors can be found on the clicker comparison grid, or by clicking on the following vendor names: eInstruction, i<Clicker, Turning Technologies.
(2) For guidelines on effective strategies for facilitating interactive large courses with clickers, see http://www.cwsei.ubc.ca/resources/files/Clickers_Final_Version_04_08.pdf
(3) Videos of clickers in action can be found here.
Making Sure your Assigned Classroom is Clicker Friendly
As soon as you know your assigned classroom, make sure that you will easily be able to set up the receiver with the existing computer equipment, or will be able to easily use your own laptop and receiver with the existing classroom technology. If you have any questions about the suitability of the classroom, PSU Audio Visual Services can provide assistance (725-9100).
Primary Contact in Audio Visual for Clickers: Brian Myers, Manager AV Services, myers@pdx.edu.
