Leena Shrestha
Leena Shrestha is an Academic Adviser/Community College Liaison
in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center. Leena enjoys working with students one on one since it allows her to get to know them on a personal
level and learn from them everyday. Mutual learning takes place during
each advising session and she finds it rewarding.
Prior to joining Portland State in 2008, she was an adviser at both Portland
Community College and North Lake College in Texas. She has a Master's
degree in International Education from the School for International
Training in Vermont.
Leena lives with her husband and her daughter in Beaverton. She loves to
go for a long walks and read books during her free time.
