Research Interests:
Biology Education Research (BER), open educational resources, universal design and accessibility

I currently teach the non-majors biology series which allows me to focus on equity and inclusion in science and fostering a sense of belonging to the science community for non-science majors. My research focus is Biology Education Research (BER). I also participate in the creation of open educational resources (OER) with a focus on universal design and cultural competency.
