Norman Scully receives grant for chemical oceanography research
Norman Scully, Biology faculty, received a $449,692 grant from the National Science Foundation Chemical Oceanography program entitled Sources and Sinks of Methyl Halides in the Florida Everglades and Coastal Waters. The co-investigators are Ronald Jones, Biology faculty, and Physics faculty Christopher Butenhoff, Aslam Khalil and Andrew Rice. The grant will fund a three-year study to investigate the processes controlling the emission of methyl halides in coastal waters.
