Background
In 2022-23, PSU FILM was awarded grant monies from the Mount Hood Cable Regulatory Commission (MHCRC) to support an investment in new livestreaming video equipment, to retrofit a classroom to accommodate a webcasting studio, and to expand our course offerings to include studio production and multi-camera field production courses.

Our faculty, let by Prof. JJ Vazquez, provided opportunities for students to use these resources to create ready-for-broadcast programs around the theme of, “Fifty Years After Title IX:  Portland Women in Sports” that is currently airing on cable access television.
