Congratulations MFA students for a job well done June 12th at the Portland State Art Department Auction and Scholarship Awards ceremony! The Mercury wrote a blog post about the event!

High Low Art Auction and Gala Friday, April 20, 2007

Free and open to the public

The Portland State Department of Art will be holding its fourth "High Low" art auction to raise money for PSU art student scholarships with a wide range of high end professional pieces, quality student work, and donated goods and services. Many artists in the community and beyond contribute to this event making the auction a good place to shop for quality art at extremely reasonable artist-set prices.

This year's contributing artists include Laura Ross-Paul, Harrell Fletcher, Pat Boas, Bill LePore, Horia Boboia, Rita Robillard, Susan Harlan, Elizbeth Stanek and Matt Hendricks.

Drinks and refreshments will be provided by Widmer Brewing, Helevatia Winery and Whole Foods Market. Chance Hayden and Co. will be performing live jazz music.
