DARS Audit Instructions
How to Run DARS Audits via the PSU Information System
1. Go to the university's home page (www.pdx.edu)
2. Click on "Students" (left hand side nav bar)
3. Click on "Registration & Records" (left hand side nav bar)
4. Click on "PSU Information System"
5. Enter your PSU ID number and PIN
6. Click on "LOGIN"
7. Click on "Student Services & Financial Aid"
8. Click on "DARS - Degree Audit Reporting System"
9. Click on "Submit an Audit"
10. Select your College or School from the pull-down menu
- For the Department of Art this would be Fine and Performing Arts - School.
11. Select your Degree from the pull-down menu
- For the Department of Art this would be either a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Art Practice, or a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.
- For those pursuing a minor and those earning a secondary degree (Postbac students) select Non-Degree.
12. Select your Major from the pull-down menu
- For the Department of Art this would be Art History, Art: Art History, Art: Art Practices or Art: Graphic Design.
When using Non-Degree
- For those pursuing a minor this would be Art: Art History Minor, Art: Draw/Paint/Print Minor, Art: Graphic Design Minor, Art: Sculpture Minor, Design Management Minor, Photography Minor, and Time Arts Minor.
- For those pursuing a second degree this would be Art History, Art: Art History, Art: Art Practices or Art: Graphic Design.
Undergraduate Admission-
In general admission to the Department of Art is gained upon successful admission to the University. However, after admission two of our programs require a further step in order to take upper-division courses (300 or 400). Please visit the Departmetn of Art website for more information.

Advising-
Beginning fall term 201 all newly admitted freshment and transfer students will be required to attend a New Student Orientation: Advising & Registration session prior to the start of their first term. Furthermore, all freshmen will be required to receive academic advising from their intended major department, according to departmental procedures, during their first year in order to register for their second year. The Undergraduate Advising & Support Center (UASC) advisors will advise students who have not chosen a major.
