To earn a minor in architecture a student must complete 44 credits including the following:
ARCH 100: Introduction to Architecture (4)
ARCH 280, ARCH 281: Design Fundamentals Studios 1, 2 (12)
ARCH 230, ARCH 231, ARCH 232: Architecture and Cultural History 1, 2, 3 (12)
Architecture or art studio electives (8)
Adviser-approved, upper-division credits in architecture (8)
Total (44)
Architecture courses taken under the undifferentiated grading option (pass/no pass) will not be accepted toward fulfilling department minor requirements.
Eighteen of the final 24 credits must be taken in residence at Portland State University.
