Research
Jeff is currently exploring the potential of projected media to transform the built environment. In addition to collaborating on light installations in the Recess Gallery (Project) and the Autzen Gallery (Alteracion), he engaged his students in projected light experiments in the city.
Jeff continues to explore Portland's industrial landscapes. In particular he has been involved in activities that center on the impact of freight rails in urban centers. Jeff will participate in this year's Railvolution convention.
Jeff is working with Sergio Palleroni and the student group COSIE (Coalition of Students Interested in Ecodistricts) to develop the PSU Ecological Learning Plaza. The facility will feature and research a full spectrum of green wall strategies that will be accessible to the development community, design professionals and the public.
