Selcting a major and/or a career is a process that

• begins with self-exploration (self-assessment): learning about yourself
  
• proceeds to exploration of majors and careers: learning about majors and careers
  
• concludes with decision-making: deciding what is a "good fit" ~ declaring a major ~ creating an action plan
  

If you are exploring majors or want to change your major, you should see an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center (UASC). UASC advisers can help you with this exploration preocess. UASC advisers might also refer you to the Career Center where career counselors can both assist you with self-assessment and help you research career fields.
