Freshman

As a freshman your first academic advising session occurs at New Student Orientation. New Student Orientation is offered every term and is your first opportunity to learn about graduation requirements and to meet with an academic adviser.

After attending orientation, and before completing your first 24 credits, you should see an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center (UASC). The UASC advisers will advise you on University, general education, and degree requirements. All academic departments provide advising for their majors. You will need to contact your major department for major-specific requirements.
