Catalog year eligibility rule
The requirements in any Bulletin (catalog) are valid for seven years. Selecting your Bulletin could have a significant impact on your academic program at PSU. You may select the requirements in any Bulletin going back to the first year you attended any accredited higher education institution in the U.S., as long as you graduate within seven years of the year you select (e.g., the requirements in the 2003-2004 Bulletin expire Summer 2010).
Choosing a Bulletin under which to graduate is a decision best made with a knowledgeable academic adviser. Remember that by selecting a Bulletin year, you must satisfy both the University requirements and the major requirements for that year. These rules apply to first majors, second majors, minors, and undergraduate certificates. You will declare which Bulletin year you intend to use when you apply for graduation during your senior year. Catalog archives of older Bulletins are available on the Registration and Records website.
