Getting advice

Student Advising CLAS

There are a variety of places where you should seek advising as a PSU student. All new students, both freshmen and transfer students, are expected to attend a New Student Orientation where they will learn about the PSU curriculum and meet with academic advisers.

During their first 24 credits at PSU all students should see an adviser in the Undergraduate Advising and Support Center (UASC). UASC advisers can assist you in understanding all the requirements necessary for graduation. You should also be receiving advising from the department in which you are majoring as soon as possible. Many colleges and schools have advising offices for students whose majors lie within their jurisdiction.
