What:
Portland State University's Institute for Nonprofit Management is offering "Comprehensive Fundraising Planning: Making the Dreams Real" as a part of its Nonprofit Fundamentals Workshop series. This workshop is designed for board members, staff leaders and others involved in raising money and building capacity for nonprofit groups. Participants will learn how to develop a long-term strategy to guide the fundraising efforts of the organization, how to connect the fundraising efforts directly to the strategic plan, and how to develop clear descriptions of the roles paid staff, board members and other volunteers can play in fundraising. The workshop will be facilitated by Marc Smiley, founder of Marc Smiley Organizational Development, which is co-sponsoring this series.

Thursday, June 23, 2005, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

PSU's Urban Center, Room 780L (506 S.W. Mill Street).
Cost:
Cost for the workshop is $95 (includes lunch if registered before June 15, 2005).
