The two pre-college programs serve over 680 middle and high school students in the Portland and Hillsboro school districts.

Funding for the TRIO programs is provided by Portland State University and the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, the same law that legislated student financial aid.
