Three new trial databases

PSU Library is testing three trial databases.

Eighteenth Century Collection
Full-text and manuscripts of digitized documents from 1701 to 1800. Searchable documents in the fields of history and geography; social science and fine arts; medicine, science, and technology; literature and language, philosophy and religion, law, and general reference.
Making of the Modern Economy
Full text of more than 61,000 books from the period 1460-1850, and 466 pre-1906 serials. Searchable primary source materials in economics.

Contains multiple editions of major works of English economists, as well as the minor writings. In addition, contains political pamphlets and broadsides, government publications, proclamations, and a wide range of ephemera. The database also includes works on usury; demographic patterns in 18th-century England; the textile industry and technological advance; public policy; poverty and the work ethic; pre-Marxian socialism; Utopian socialism; and more.
Times Digital Archive
Searchable full text of The Times of London from 1785 to 1985. Stores both the facsimile page of the article and full text. Contains over 7.6 million articles.
