Simon Benson Awards to honor local philanthropists

Nearly 1,000 business and community leaders are expected to attend PSU's annual Simon Benson Awards Dinner on Tuesday, October 6, honoring two visionary Portland couples for their generous gifts of time and money in support of generations of Oregonians: Thomas B. and Caroline P. Stoel, and Patricia L. Wessinger. This year's dinner features a talk by Walter Cronkite, former anchorman and managing editor of "CBS Evening News."
