PSU's Millar Library Presents Panel on Independent Press

What:
Portland State's Millar Library's Artists and Writers Series presents an "Independent Press" event which will feature a panel of independent publishers and editors from the Portland metropolitan area. The panelists will discuss the trajectory of their careers and the impact of large publishing houses and super booksellers on their businesses.

The speakers include R.V. Branham, editor, Gobshite Quarterly; Jeffrey St. Clair, co-editor, CounterPunch; Dennis Stovall, program director of PSU's Ooligan Press; Matthew Stadler, editor, and Richard Jensen, publisher, Clear Cut Press.

When:
Saturday, January 8, 2004 at 7 p.m.

Where:
PSU's Millar Library, 2nd floor (1875 S.W. Park Ave.)

Cost:
Admission is free and open to the public. Donations of canned food for the Oregon Food Bank can be made at the door.
