PSU's Millar Library Holds Book Sale Next Month
What:
Portland State University's Branford P. Millar Library will hold the first of its quarterly surplus book sales this November. Tables overflowing with thousands of book bargains will be located outside, under the eaves of the Millar Library's semi-circular entrance. Proceeds from this sale will benefit the Millar Library, the region's largest academic library with over 1.3 million volumes.
When:
Thursday, November 4, 2004, 7:30 a.m. - midnight.
Friday, November 5, 2004, 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 6, 2004, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Where:
The entrance to PSU's Millar Library (1875 S.W. Park Avenue).
Cost:
Admission is free and open to the public.
Prices will be $1 for paperbacks, $2 for hardcover books.

Portland State's Millar Library supports the information, research, teaching and learning needs for over 1,800 faculty and 24,500 students at Portland State University, covering over 125 undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees as well as graduate certificates and continuing education programs. The Library has over 1.3 million volumes, and subscribes to more than 8,000 journals and 6,000 electronic journals. In addition, PSU's Library is the regional depository for federal documents and is a member of the Portals and Orbis/Cascade Alliance library consortia.
