PSU Students Move Into Residence Halls This Weekend

What: 

With the assistance of parents, friends and V-Haulers (PSU faculty and staff volunteers), over 600 new Portland State students are expected to move-in to campus housing facilities this weekend. Students will be moving into several residence halls across campus including PSU’s newest facility, The Broadway. With the opening of The Broadway (fully leased), Portland State now offers over 1,600 residential units for its students.

The Broadway—SW Broadway and College

The Ondine Residence Hall—1912 SW Sixth Avenue

Stephen F. Epler Hall—1136 SW Montgomery
 
When: 

Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Best time for photos: Saturday, September 18 between 10 a.m. – noon

Background: 

The Broadway, Portland State’s newest residence hall, is a two-towered, 10-story mixed-use development complex that includes student housing, university services and ground-floor retail. The Broadway’s top eight stories feature 383 studio units. Portland State University will welcome over 24,000 students back to campus for the start of fall term on September 27, 2004.
