Provost Koch Invites Faculty to Enter Partnerships
To: Faculty and Staff
From: Roy Koch, Provost
I invite you to take a few moments to visit and add your community-university partnerships to the newly upgraded "Portland State Partnership Map," the GIS-based interactive web map that was first displayed at the Fall 2005 faculty symposium.
The depth and extent of Portland State's partnerships in the community distinguishes us among institutions of higher education. This well-deserved source of pride provides more than $15.5 million in economic impact annually to the metropolitan community. We currently have over 400 live links on the map, but know that at least twice that many partnerships are not yet mapped. If you have not yet done so, I appreciate your effort to help us document and display this important information by visiting the map and adding your partnerships.
