Maseeh College Advisory Board Member Reappointed to Washington Technology Center Board

MCECS_Clemens.jpgJon Clemens, Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board member and president of Sharp Technology Ventures, has been reappointed by state of Washington Governor Christine Gregoire to a second four-year term on the Washington Technology Center board of directors, holding the position of Chairman of the Board. His new term expires June 2008.

The Washington Technology Center encourages collaboration among the state’s universities, private technology companies, and state government in the pursuit of research to benefit the state’s economy. Its mission is to “spark ideas, form connections between people and resources, and foster job growth to position Washington State as a national technology leader.”

Jon Clemens has been an active member of the Maseeh College Advisory Board since 1997, has served as Board chair, and currently chairs a Board committee on intellectual property.
