SAVE THE DATE! ITS OREGON WORKSHOP OCTOBER 27, 2003 BEND, OREGON

Mark your calendars now for ITS Oregon's second workshop of 2003. After a successful April workshop in the Portland area, ITS Oregon, the state chapter of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), will be holding its second workshop in Bend. * Learn about how intelligent transportation systems (ITS) apply to your daily life and can be used to improve the security, safety, and efficiency of our transportation facilities and services.
* Learn about traveler information/511 and automated weather collection systems, and how they can support travel and tourism in Oregon.
* Learn about the California-Oregon Advanced Transportation System (COATS) and other rural applications of ITS.

There will be an educational session for those new to the ITS field as well as a lunch keynote address. Exhibitors will be invited to demonstrate the latest ITS technology. The workshop location, registration, and hotel information as well as detailed session information will be announced in September.
