ITS OREGON WORKSHOP OCTOBER 27, 2003

Mark your calendars now for ITS Oregon's second workshop of 2003. After a successful April workshop in the Portland area, ITS Oregon, the state chapter of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), will be holding its second workshop in Bend. * Learn about how intelligent transportation systems (ITS) apply to your daily life and can be used to improve the security, safety, and efficiency of our transportation facilities and services.
* Learn about traveler information/511 and automated weather collection systems, and how they can support travel and tourism in Oregon.
* Learn about the California-Oregon Advanced Transportation System (COATS) and other rural applications of ITS.
There will be an educational session for those new to the ITS field as well as a lunch keynote address. Exhibitors will be invited to demonstrate the latest ITS technology.
