Filmmaker and author Saul Landau will show his new 40-minute documentary, Syria: Between Iraq and a Hard Place, at PSU this August. The movie will be followed by a discussion about the documentary and his new book, The Business of America: How Consumers Have Replaced Citizens and How We Can Reverse the Trend. This event is organized as a part of the Branford Price Millar Library's Artists and Writers Series in conjunction with Portland State's student film committee.
