The Hatfield School of Government at Portland State is the new home for the International Studies Association journal International Studies Perspectives. The journal's editors-in-chief are some of the University's leading political scientists: Prof. David Kinsella, who teaches courses in world politics and international security issues, and Prof. Birol Yesilada, who teaches courses on European and Turkish politics and who chairs PSU's Contemporary Turkish Studies program.

The journal addresses issues related to the field of international studies and is overseen by an editorial advisory board of more than 50 experts from around the world.
