Portland State University's Master of International Management (MIM) program, which focuses on business and trade with Asia, has added new specializations to its curriculum that will give its students the in-depth skills to make an immediate impact on the firms that hire them: Global Supply Chain Management, Global Marketing, and Global Business and Sustainability.
![]() | New specializations in the Master of International Management degree program will better prepare students for the demands of global business, says Sully Taylor, program director. |
"The expanded specializations within the MIM program address many of the needs that are high on the list of globally focused Oregon businesses," said Sanjay Mehra, director for Nike's Asia Pacific region, and member of the MIM program's executive advisory committee.
According to MIM director Sully Taylor, companies in our region see market opportunities in Asia as well as its growing role in global supply chains and a growing need for business strategies focused on sustainable growth.
