What: CounterPunch co-editor Jeffrey St. Clair will read from his new book, Grand Theft Pentagon, at the PSU Millar Library as part of the American Library Association's Banned Books Week and the September Project. Grand Theft Pentagon alleges that some of the world's largest corporations used the events of 9/11 to secure government contracts worth billions of dollars. St. Clair examines areas of the Pentagon, focusing on deals between the defense department and contractors including Boeing and Halliburton.
When: Friday, September 29, 2006, 7–9 p.m.
Where: First floor, PSU Millar Library (1875 SW Park Ave.).
Cost: Admission is free and open to the public. Oregon Food Bank donations accepted at the PSU Library.
