Mike Burton, former CEO of the Metro regional government, has been selected as PSU's new vice provost and executive director of Extended Studies (ES). In this role, Burton is charged with maintaining strong collaborative ties with the University's external constituencies in order to address learning and programming needs at local, state, national, and international levels. In addition, Burton will provide vision and leadership for Extended Studies' broad range of current and anticipated outreach and program initiatives.

Extended Studies offers 4,200 credit and noncredit programs, courses, and workshops annually both on- and off-campus that meet the needs of its many partners. Visit Extended Studies for a complete list of offerings.
