How to Apply: Co-Admission

  • For freshman admission, meet minimum admissions requirements for freshman applicants and submit a co-admission application to the community college.
  • For transfer admission, meet minimum admissions requirements for transfer applicantsand submit a co-admission application to the community college. Note that the minimum number of transfer credits is 24 rather than the 30 normally required of a transfer applicant. If have earned fewer than 24 credits, include your high school transcript or GED test score as well as your SAT/ACT scores with your application.
  • Even though there is one application form, Portland State and the community college charge separate, non-refundable application fees. The Portland State fee is $50.00 but community college application fees vary. If paying by check (or money order), please include one check for each institution with your application.
  • Deliver or mail your application materials to the community college by the application deadline.

Follow-up

  • The community college processes your application and forwards your materials to Portland State; however, you are responsible for submitting official transcripts directly to Portland State for any college or university you have attended for which the community college does not have a transcript on file.
  • When you application is complete, Portland State notifies you via mail of your admissions status.
